They are working on it

I stayed in their top of the line suite. It was large, well appointed, clean and the bed comfortable. The Jacuzzi bath was broken. I have stayed in this hotel several times and they are improving the cleanliness. Breakfast leaves a great deal to be desired. They put out some slices of Wonder bread with a toaster and a few packaged mini-muffins. It is a viable option for the budget-minded as it is much less expensive than the other hotels in town. I will come back when nothing else is available.

Affordable rates

I stay in a lot of inexpensive hotels for work. This was a family trip and the room was fine the service was great. The only issue was the smell. It was very damp out during our stay and the mildew smell was very strong in the hallway and our room. There is nothing that can be done about it so I didn’t complain. Maybe at a dryer time of year it would be so pungent. I got a candle at a local store and it helped but there is really nothing to be done about it. The room was worth the money compared to the prices of other hotels. Just be prepared with fabreeze or something.

Coratel is where I stay most often when I am in Northfield. While it isn’t “fancy”— it is always the most affordable option and it’s quiet and clean. If these things are what most matter to you- I’d encourage you to give it a try.

This is totally a “you get what you pay for” property. Very run down. Towels are very very thin. Was ok for a place to crash for the night. Next time I’ll spend more and get a much nicer place. Staff were friendly though.

Good sleep

The hotel was fine. We went down for breakfast and there were a couple pieces of bread and some yogurt. But was a good stop to sleep and move on.

Budget friendly.

We’ve stayed here a couple times while visiting the college. Our room has always been clean, staff friendly and bed comfortable. Wish there were more a couple more pillows on the bed, overall a nice budget friendly place to stay.

Room was not bad but the experience was awful. They checked another guest into our room at 1 am, and while I was sleeping someone began entering the room. I had the security bar in place, or they would have gained entry. It was terrifying and I couldn’t sleep after. No elevator and had to carry items upstairs to second floor. Okay cleanliness and condition. Not the best place I have stayed. Not the worst.

Not impressed

The room was big and clean. The beds are very comfortable . Bathroom was tiny to the point that the toilet did not allow the door to open completely. And the breakfast consist of juice, coffee, and bread that was hard to the touch.

We had some initial issues with our original room, but the staff member was very kind and quickly reacted to our situation giving us an upgraded room for the same price. Given her kind and professional manner, I would not hesitate to stay here again. The property is very fairly priced.

The only thing I can say is the heater wasn't working right it kept coming on every 30 seconds so hopefully they get that working right besides that it was a pretty good room for the price stayed one night

The desk prrson was friendly and helpful. There were no soap, shampoo, etc. in the room. He produced them at the desk when asked, and also a toothbrush whoch I failed to bring. For a total price of under $60 complete, I did not have high expectations, but I believe I received an appropriate experience for the amount paid. I would consider using this facility again, especially for one (or two) people.
