Lovely villa, place and people

A beautifully and lovingly restored old villa. It’s located in central Owaka which was excellent for access to a lot of North Catlins activities/waterfalls. The hosting was excellent, with useful info on everything from which food outlets would be open the evening I arrived to advice on ways of doing potential long one-way walks, and the best times to visit different locations. Thoroughly recommend (and especially to people who enjoy Edwardian homes!)

Owaka classic

Jill is a lovely host, and presents the place beautifully. Everything was beautiful & well cared for.This was the top of our accomodation price range & with Owaka's remoteness, seemed a bit steep.

Jill is amazing

We were travelling with our 7month old baby. Jill was so amazing, she had all the items we needed; porta cot (made with clean sheets and baby blankets), baby bath, highchair even toys. She made our stay so easy and enjoyable. We would definitely go back 😊
