"Staff were very nice. Rooms were simple but effective. Heating was working (some reviews dud not understand that there was a switch on the side as well as he temp control.) hot water also good. Fridge, basic cooking equipment plates etc. Bring a corkscrew and a small coffee percolator if you need them. Towels and bed sheets with a duvet all clean etc. "

"The house is a beautifully redone schist structure in the center of Talasnal. All the comforts of home; nicely stocked kitchen, great fireplace (heated the whole house), comfortable beds, and nice hot showers. Great hikes just walking out the front door…although we did get lost the first day. Haha. Both Joao and Alda were super responsive and so helpful. Even offering to pick us up in Candal after our very long misplaced hike. Definitely purchase any supplies before arriving as the tiny Mercado...

"The apartment is within steps (literally) of the town market, the Elevator to the university, and the main pedestrian plaza. It faces a pedestrian alley and is quiet at night. "Our brief stay at Hotel Oslo was part of a wonderful trip to Portugal last year. The hotel was well kept and has a modern but local feel. Staff members were pleasant and helpful. We stayed in late-July 2023, and the hotel was quiet and in a convenient location. The rooftop lounge was a beautiful place to kick our feet up after walking through the old town center - of which the hotel is essentially on the edge. Breakfast was nice, and also was served in a pleasant room with views of the old city. I would stay here again without hesitation."
