Located in a private cabin community, this will be your favorite go-to spot when in the White Mountains.



Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room with Smart TV, a sleeping loft with a set of twin beds and a peaceful bedroom with a queen bed and its own Smart TV. Nestled in a friendly resort community, you’ll have easy access to lakes and trails as well as the pine-filled surroundings that make Heber-Overgaard such a sought-after destination.



Whether you’re here to relax under the stars, explore nearby hiking trails, or simply escape the city for fresh mountain air, Bear’s Den is the perfect place to call home during your stay.





🌿ADVENTURE AWAITS

Come here to get "away-from-it-all" while still being "close-to-everything". Perfect for all seasons, the high-country hometown of Heber-Overgaard offers access to several lakes in the region, numerous off-road trails and quaint small town shops. Enjoy hiking, fishing, and kayaking in the summer, or cozy up by the fire after a day of snow trekking in the winter. Willow Springs and Woods Canyon Lake are a short drive away plus you don't want to miss the majestic views of the Mogollon Rim with a scenic drive to the Rim Vista Overlook Trail.

Considering this is a home, not a hotel, we kindly ask you to treat the space with care. While we strive to address any issues promptly, please note that there is no on-site staff available 24/7. However, we’re just a message away if you need assistance! To finalize your booking, a separate rental agreement is required.



Please note: this is a pet-free home to ensure the comfort of all guests, and we’re unable to make exceptions. If you’re traveling with pets, we’d be happy to help you find one of our pet-friendly properties instead.



🧳TRAVEL INSURANCE ADVISORY

For a stress-free getaway, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance—especially during winter months when unexpected weather or illness can disrupt travel plans. Reservations become non-refundable after a certain point, so having coverage ensures you’re protected from last-minute changes due to road closures, weather delays, or unforeseen circumstances.



This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and security deposit. We know security deposits are annoying, so to make it easier on you we have 2 options that you can choose between:



Option 1: Damage Waiver ($47) - Have a worry-free stay with coverage for up to $1,500 for accidental damage (spills, breaks, mishaps) with no surprise charges. Just relax and enjoy your stay. Coverage up to 10 nights, +$5/day for longer stays, and provided by a third-party insurance company.



Option 2: Security Deposit ($1,000) - Refundable temporary hold that releases after your stay.



To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform called Happy Guest. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it's a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots.



Your guest portal includes advertisements with third-party upgrades that you may want to enhance your stay. These upgrades are optional and include:
