Dear Management On April 17, 2025, through your online booking link,  I made a reservation and paid with my Mastercard for a hotel room at Residence Yipene in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso from April April 28 - May 4, 2025. Upon arrival in Burkina Faso, I was shocked that there was no such a hotel as advertised on booking site. The building was not in use.  I had to make other arrangements for my stay. I am therefore requesting a full refund of my paid reservation in the amount of 208,26 € Please see the transaction information below.  I hope to hear back from you as soon as possible. Regards. schöne böse Überraschung

unterkunft lag 5 km entfernt vom ort, der auf der karte von ouagadougou angezeigt wurde. die schuld hierfür wurde expedia zugeschanzt. die hotelmanagerin war total überrascht, muss aber eigentlich längst bekannt gewesen sein, weil meine buchung schon monate zurück lag und die angeblich optimale lage der grund für die wahl des hotels gewesen war. zimmer war schoen gross und ruhig, aber es gab eine ratte im zimmer. ausserdem war die balkontuer nicht abschliessbar (schloss ausgebaut). am morgen, als ich duschen wollte, gab es kein wasser. das fruehstueck war bescheiden, das bescheidenste, das ich innerhalb der letzten zehn tage bekam. aufgrund von protesten, nicht nur von mir, wurde ich - sehr positiv ohne aufzahlung - in ein stadtnaeheres hotel transferiert. die kosten trug expedia, denen ich bereits das geld ueberwiesen hatte. zur lösung der probleme einiger hotelgäste war der lokale manager von expedia eigens ins hotel gekommen.
