The property was clean, the staff was super helpful, there is limited onsite parking but there is a secondary lot if needed. The restaurant or portion of the lobby was undergoing construction at the time of my stay but they remained respectful and kept construction during the day and avoided quiet hours

I loved the proximity to Parliament Hill and the Byward Market. The hotel is undergoing renovations so the restaurant was not available. A continental breakfast was provided in the lobby. Loved the pool.

Staff was very friendly. Hotel rooms were nice and renovated. Very clean. Pool was a little cold. We had a younger group staying on our floor on our second night that was very loud, running and talking very loudly in hallways.

The hotel is very centrally located and was very up front that they are going through renovations. However, I found staff were quite cold and curt, and on my last morning the housekeeper tried to come into the room while knocking and I was in the washroom - I felt this was a bit odd. Otherwise the room itself was great, bed was very comfy and I liked the renovated room choices. Perfect for a single traveller stay.

The staff was extremely helpful and the room was very clean. The renovations didn't interfere with our visit and the restaurant did the best they could with the situation. The breakfast buffet could have been discontinued due to situation other than that our overall our stay was excellent.

I stayed at this Marriott in downtown Ottawa in Oct 2026. The entire first floor of the property is undergoing renovation so the hotel entrance is dusty and the lobby is not elegant or welcoming in its present state. The hotel's restaurant is closed and room service has limited hours. The hotel rooms themselves are renovated and have a refreshed updated feel. However my shower's drain was plugged. Overall, I did not feel it was worth the price paid per night due to the renovation and reduced amenities.

We totally enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Even though it was going through some renovations, everything was still accessible. Our room was very quiet and had great views. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back when the renovations are done to see the after :)
