Used the Restaurant for Breakfast and evening meal with a great choice, taste and very well presented. Initially booked 3 days, extended a further week."

"Stayed here a few times and it doesn't disappoint. German cleanliness and efficiency as to be expected. The rooms are nice, wouldn't describe them as the height of luxury - but this isn't a 5 star hotel, so you get what you pay for! There is no fridge in the room, which is a little strange for nowadays... Wi-fi works perfectly, plenty of parking, all the staff are very nice and accommodating. The general area outside is beautiful, very nice to walk around the lake. The sauna, pool and spa area...

"This hotel may have had 5* in the past and could again possibly with a little refurb. The staff & service was great, as the location. I would have liked a kettle in the room and our pillows were very flat although the bed was very comfortable. "

"Very convenient for the train station. Friendly and efficient staff. Clean room with very comfortable beds. It would have been nice to have air-conditioning as I found the bedroom too warm and although it was possible to open the windows, there was too much road noise for me. It might not bother other people."

"Upon arriving, there was a work crew pressure blasting paint off the building. It was loud & directly below the 1st room we were given, so we asked to be moved. Our new room was quieter during the day, but it was near the employee smoking area, so cigarette stink often wafted into our "nonsmoking" room. Also, in the evenings, noise from the restaurant disrupted our sleep until the wee hours. Calling reception to ask when the party in the hotel-owned restaurant would be winding down, we were told...
