Nice room, terrible service

The hotel and the room was very nice, and check in went smoothly. There is no daily cleaning which we did not need. Coffee, tea, clean towels etc. was available in a closet by the front door. We arrived on a warm and sunny friday, and the room was very warm. We tried to open the windows as there was no a/c. They did only open 5 cm which did not really help. We also realised that the room (203) was placed right above a wine bar with loud music and tables outside just below the windows. So, the room was boiling, and the music was loud, so I decided to politely ask for a more quiet room. The hotel has no reception, so customer service was via a chatbot on Whatsapp. It was a very tiresome ecperience trying to communicate and finally getting through to a human who was also not very helpful. They offered us a fan against the heat but then forgot about it again. And they claimed that the wine bar was not their problem and we could not change rooms. I never asked them to do anything about the bar, just to give me a more quiet room. For every exchange with customer service I had to rate the conversation again and again. So, the room was nice and the location was great. But if you are in any way sensitive to noise and temperature like me, you might want to stay somewhere else as customer service is not willing to resolve any issues.

The room was above a bar and a pizza place. It was a little loud until 10pm The balcony was nice and quiet to sit and read. The room had what we need. Walk to Palace. We used the hop-on hop-off bus, stop in front of palace.

Hotellet var ovarsamt renoverat och anpassat till hotellverksamhet i förhÄllande till den klassiska stilen pÄ huset och omgivningen. Vi uppskattade nÀrheten till bra kommunikationer fast vi oftast gick överallt. NÀr vi stötte pÄ en stÀderska som vÀnligt hÀlsade insÄg jag hur mycket jag uppskattar bemannade hotell. Ett hej, ett leende. PÄ Numa Oslo Topp var det tomt. Köket var frÀscht med diskmaskin, nÄgra fler av allting hade inte skadat. Queen-size sÀngen hade man tryckt in i ett utrymme som inte medgav plats för nattduksbord och lampa för den som lÄg innerst som dÀrmed fick klÀttra över sin partner. Nja, bra lÀge men inte mycket mer.

avoid this hotel if you want to sleep

1. there were too much noise from the ventilator and no instructions were to turn it of. So we got minimal with sleep the first night. One of us slept in the bathroom to avoid the ventilator noise. 2. The emergency WhatsApp number didn't work. 3. The breakfast did first start at 8:00 and that were after we had to leave the hotel, so also there we did waste our money. So all in all a very bad experience.

Wonderful Place to stay

I was very happy to stay at Numa. Communication was easy and nice. Check in was so easy provided by a link and information. The apartment was clean and amenities great! In addition to this we had free access to tea and coffee. There are great restaurants and shops near by and easy access to the city centre. Frogner is an awesome place to live and the neighborhood is beautiful. I will definitely be back!
