"We spent a month in Italy and this was by far the nicest, most comfortable of our accommodations. The view is incredible. "It was very convenient to stay in this apartment. You can start your walk in the woods just at your doorstep. The center of Ortisei with lots of beautiful shops is a 20 minute walk. Here you will find also three cableways up into the mountains. Beautiful opportunities for shorter or longer walks. The apartment is fully equipped and the balcony is spacious with enough sunshine and also shady parts."

"The email just before arrival was ambiguous. It should have said in bold and or underlined font “you must come to the office before the property to obtain the key!” The office was difficult to find because in fact it is not in the city of the mailing address, but the adjacent city. This caused hours of confusion and frustration. "We really enjoy our time in Ortisei! The listing was exactly as advertised. We even had a small issue and needed to extend the checkout time, which the hosts were gracious enough to extend us to allow for later departure! We did have to buy laundry detergent for the washer and ran low on toilet paper, but everything else was fully stocked, including the kitchen! Would love to be able to come back again and experience a winter in this magical town! "

"Beautiful property in the perfect location. We had great views from our balcony, and the hotel was within walking distance of all the lifts and the center of town. It was just far enough from the center to be quiet and peaceful in the evenings. The indoor and outdoor pools were a wonderful bonus, and breakfast was very nice, with high-quality food and plenty of choices. The spa was another great feature and an added bonus to an already wonderful stay. We really enjoyed our time here!"

"Absolutely beautiful hotel in an excellent location. This was part of a larger trip; so glad we decided to stay here. The customer service was very helpful; arranging several of our outings. As a guest you’re offered a discounted rate to many activities. We chose to have breakfast included and so glad we did. There were many local foods with loads of variety - from sweet treats to healthy options. The spa! What a wonderful place to unwind after a day of adventure. Thank you !!"

"The hotel is in an amazing location with majestic views. The staff was very helpful and always available to provide answers to questions and solutions to our issues. There is a shuttle service to town which is very convenient because parking is scarce in downtown . The shuttle was always available within a few minutes of requesting it. Breakfast was included in our stay. The food was fresh and delicious, the waiting staff were friendly and professional, knowledgeable. We had an amazing time and we can recommend this hotel to anyone coming to this area."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Monchalet our only complaint would be we only spent one night there. The front desk was very welcoming and charming. She took the time to give a tour of the facilities and walked us to our room. The gentleman who brought our luggage from the car and parked was super pleasant and professional. He even acted as our shuttle driver and went above and beyond to call and confirm closing times and such. The room was immaculate. We spent a short time in every outdoor space. Two different couches and lounge chairs provided ample space to enjoy the amazing views. The bathtub was huge and luxurious. They supplied every thing needed for your stay. The breakfast was delicious and the servers there were amazing and pleasant as well. We hope to visit when we have more time in the area. We did not have a chance to use the steam shower, but it looked amazing!"

"We loved our 5 day stay in this hotel. It was close enough to the main bus stop and just next to the supermarket. Also, as it was 10 mins walk to the Alpes de Suisi cable car station, we took the opportunity to go up the mountain as many times as we could. The buffet breakfast had a wide spread, and the view from the dining area was delightful. 😄"
