"The hotel itself was nice enough but we were very disappointed on arrival to find that the bar and the restaurant were both closed for reasons my Spanish was not good enough to understand. The promised restaurants in the village turned out to also be closed but we were eventually able to find some snacks at a bar. "The apartment was clean and amazingly located within the town centre. There was the option to park right outside the building. The instructions on how to access the keys and the apartment itself were excellent. “Mountain views” meant views to the wall of a massive rock a few meters away. The apartment was clean and spacious. The sofa was extremely uncomfortable (the back was solid) and the supplementary bed was super soft and squeaky, with any small movement. The toilets were clean although the...

"The staff was very friendly, they forgot to give us blankets and we run out of toilet paper. Food was available, coffee was tasty. This property is facing this beautiful cathedral, what makes it really special. Few restaurants nearby. "

"Hotel Pura Vida was a beautiful hotel nestled into a beautiful village in the middle of La Rioja. The staff were super friendly and lovely towards our 7 month old son. There is a garden out the back with lovely dappled sunlight and views over the village. We would definitely stay here again, if we ever return to the area. Thanks so much for a lovely stay."
