Escape to the 1920s but with Air Conditioning!

This property oozes the "Old Florida" vibe with the creature comforts of the 21st century. The sleeping arrangements are varied and flexible, to accommodate just about any type of group. The gourmet kitchen was well-stocked and with a little creativity, I was able to cook meals for 11 people for 4 days. There was even a blender for a special dessert. The property is 2 miles from a Publix grocery so anything we needed was just around the corner. The host supplied K-cups for the Keurig coffee maker, which was greatly appreciated. The group spent a good amount of time around the pool, and the outdoor kitchen, full bath, and outdoor seating area. made it a lovely place for us to visit with each other. I was extremely impressed with our host - he was polite, prompt, and professional with all communications. This visit was my first at a virbo and I'm looking forwad to many more.

This place is a gem!

My friends and I had the best time at this lakefront house in Orlando! We were blown away by the stunning lake view. The pool and hot tub were a dream – we soaked in the hot tub while taking in the beautiful scenery. The bedrooms were cozy and comfy, and we slept like babies. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a great meal. Austin was super friendly and helpful, making our stay even better. I can't wait to come back and bring my family for a longer stay. Thanks for an amazing night!

Amazing gem

Everything was just as expected. Total privacy, beautiful views. We can't wait to come back! There were a lot of touches added to the property that really made it stand out. Every detail was taken care of and we loved the historic feel. The kids enjoyed watching movies in the speak easy and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Putting was fun, bocce ball was fun, and the outdoor kitchen was a beautiful touch.

Would give more than 5 stars if we could

Absolutely stunning. When we first showed up we were a little unsure of the neighborhood but it was perfectly fine. The lake views are great, we had complete privacy. It felt like everything had been thought through ahead of time. We had plenty of things to cook with, yard games, you name it. The managers and Austin were really quick to answer any questions we had. We had an issue figuring out the thermostat and they immediately responded. We absolutely can't wait to stay here again.

buyer beware-health and safety concerns-stayed one night

the pictures insinuate this is a home surrounded by a peaceful land. It actually sits on an extremely busy 4 lane highway with 24/7 noisy traffic. The noise triggers the front lights on the house constantly making sleeping in the rooms on that side of the house difficult, as the window coverings are flimsy. *the pool was filthy. It was obvious that no cleaning person was assigned to check or clean that area. There was a “cleaning machine” in the pool which machine apparently had a short in it and did not work. (It flickered when hit on) An electrician in our party said no one should touch the water, if the short was in the wire to the machine one could get electrocuted *the black we found around a vent and up a wall in the dining room appeared to be black mold. The fear was that it could extend into the vents and/or walls of the house. We had a person in our group with serious allergies so this was a great concern *we were told the day before we arrived that there would be no Wi-Fi but hoped to get it fixed Monday *a bed in the “speakeasy” room had a broken leg so that if one layed on it it collapsed *the water tanks that are connected to the outside wall of the speakeasy bang constantly making it hard to sleep in that room *did not understand or appreciate the 8x10 picture of hitler on the wall of the 40s room, victory day may be celebrated in a better depiction than the source of so much pain and suffering *the bathroom for that BR had one ragged towel w/big hole

Hidden Orlando Gem

One word to describe Austin’s property is jaw-dropping. It’s well worth the price and there’s so much space. My husband & I needed a place to sleep our entire wedding party and their dates. You will not find a space big enough to sleep this many people in Orange County, and for that it’s worth 5 stars. I wanted to take a star off because as an Orlando local, the location may look weird on the map and you’ll have to pay tolls if you’re running around Orlando, but I just couldn’t get myself to do it. We felt totally safe all weekend, even with people in our group going in & out. Check in process was simple & the place was clean when we got there, but a little hot upstairs. I almost needed to message Austin on finding the gate clicker, but I ended up finding it in the speakeasy. My group and I loved hanging out by the saltwater pool all day & night. A word of advise from someone who doesn’t have experience with hot tubs, please make sure none of your guests have a spray tan on! We learned that mistake after the water got all nasty and green, & we followed the directions of adding cleaning solution but that did not do much. So don’t be like my group and learn from us. Thank you again Austin, your property is stunning and we loved how you kept the historic charm of the house. We made so many memories that will be cherished for years to come. As a history geek, I loved reading the history on the house posted around. 5/5 stars all around!

Peaceful Stay

Great place to relax. We played golf in the morning and then was back to the house to relax on the patio and by the pool. We had a great time.

Everything We Could Have Wanted for the Special Occasion

We came to Orlando for our daughter's wedding and needed a place with a beautiful setting inside and out for pre-wedding pictures and to sleep 12 people. This house was a dream! My daughter arrived and said, "Mom, it's perfect!" That was all I needed to hear. The owners were responsive and kind. I would recommend to anyone!

Amazing step back in time

Absolutely perfect venue for a family gathering. So many great places for conversations and great places for everyone to gather. The decor is fantastic and feels like the 1920s. Beautiful Spanish mansion. Hosts have spent a great deal of time making it feel special. Beds were comfortable , lots of bathrooms, and up to date amenities. Great communication with hosts as well. When you look at hotel costs this is such a great value for a large family. Perfect for reunions. We spent the same or less compared to hotel rooms and a much better experience. The grounds are amazing as well. We married off our first kid in style.

Gorgeous property

I booked this property pretty much last minute. The communication with Austin was great. Replied right away and made sure I booked it the right way. The property was gorgeous. A lot of space. So very great to do events, and just relax. We did see a snake on our walkway down to the pool, but it’s Florida so 😊 The rooms were very interested in 1900s style. We enjoyed it. Had birthday dinner for my Bf, so our friends came and we have received lots of compliments. No one could believe that a gorgeous property like this could be in the area. I wish we could’ve stayed longer of course to enjoy the pretty views. But maybe next time. It was pretty clean just maybe windows could be clean more better. Early in the morning while we were still sleeping, can hear loud noises of cars/ambulances that woke us up, and the yard guy started to do yard work but in all it was great experience and we had lots of fun! Definitely can recommend for a special event planning here.

Amazing stay

Perfect Family Getaway!

Our family loved Austin’s “home away from home”. Situated on many acres of land, there is plenty to do on the property. The pool and gardens are taken care of everyday. We could tell there was a lot of TLC put into the home, which made us feel like we were being treated like guests at a hotel. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you can need. Lots of stores close by for grocery runs and about 20 mins drive to downtown in the event you’d like to see the city or go out to a nice restaurant. We absolutely adored his place and still receive so many compliments on how beautiful Austin’s home is! Hands down, would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a family home with breathtaking views. In fact, I took my bridal pictures here and can’t wait to see how they turned out. Thank you Austin for being there for everything we needed during our stay.

Thanksgiving Stay

Our extended family had a wonderful stay at the Historic Lakefront Estate for Thanksgiving. Lots of room to hang out inside and outdoors, great yard for a dog, and beds were very comfortable. We stayed in and cooked most days so could have benefited from more baking dishes/tools, but overall property was as listed and perfect for our family trip! Austin was very accommodating and always available when we reached out.

Retreat

This property was great for our annual retreat for our company based in Orlando. There was plenty of room for our 12 people for sleeping arrangements. The pool area and pond for great for entertainment. I would recommend this property.

Beautiful lakefront estate!!!

Let me start by saying this estate was gorgeous! Looks just like the pictures for the most part. . I loved the privacy of the entire property!!! The rooms are beautiful and large!!! The kitchen is amazing, especially the built in microwave. The area outside by the pool is the best!!!The home was well stocked in the kitchen, had coffee for Keurig and Ninja coffee maker & a lot of other supplies not found in other rentals like paper plates and plastic forks & spoons, sugar and even some spices. There were plenty towels for the pool. Just beware that you do have a limit of how many guests you have visit. The owner was on top of everything that we did find not to our satisfaction. Our biggest issue was that you can't get to the lake. In the description it says "lake access" but we could not get to it. Once we got to the house & let Austin know that was the main reason we booked this particular home, he got on it trying to get a dock built. There were other little things like better cleaning, which he sent someone out the next day to take care of. He even sent us a canoe once he thought the dock would be ready the next day but it wasn't complete by the time we left. But the dock was built, just had to be extended to reach the water. I'm sure the next renters will enjoy fishing there. The projector at the pool area wasn't working , but I'm sure Austin will be on it. He communicated with me everyday to make sure everything was to our liking. Being a small business owner myself I understood how its hard to find workers right now. All in all the house is amazing! The owner sent us 2 beautiful fruit baskets because of the few issues which was truly appreciated. Because I myself rely on reviews to help choose our rentals I want to let others know if you have elderly or handicapped ppl in your party they will be limited to moving around in the house. The Speakeasy was fine for my mom and aunt but they weren't able to maneuver around the house with their walker and oxygen tanks without being assisted. All in all I would still give this house 5 stars because of the owner's willingness to accommodate us for what wasn't up to par. Mrs. Yolanda Watts 229-726-0294

Amazing property

The property was everything we thought it would be. The history at the villa was really cool. We had four baseball families at this property with their siblings. There was a ton of space for everyone to move around. The pool area was really nice. The owner was super responsive and helpful. The next time we are in Orlando for a tourney we will rent this property again.
