    The beautifully landscaped Escapes to the Shores resort is situated in Orange Beach near family-focused restaurants and attractions such as Adventure Island for miniature golf, laser tag and arcade games; Fat Daddy's arcade; Bubba's Seafood House; Ruby Slipper Café (a top spot for omelets, brunch fare and cocktails); fine dining restaurant Fin & Fork; and more.



    As soon as you drive onto the grounds at Escapes to the Shores, you'll feel as though you have truly escaped into a friendly, fun, laid-back resort setting with amenities to keep everyone busy and happy for the duration of your vacation.



    Enjoy the water jet splash pool, indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, indoor hot tub, waterfall, outdoor fireplace (s'mores, anyone?), a steam room, an exercise room and a barbecue area.

Condo was in great condition and the property owner did reply within less than an hour. We would have liked to know earlier about the initial rental’s unavailability as we had already arrived at Gulf Shores. The property owner was able to substitute our rental for another condo within 2 hours before we were to check in so all was well.

When booking a place to stay, the pictures looked great. When we arrived, the code to the room didn’t work and we had to sit in the hall for 30 minutes until the maintenance man in the building helped us - not property management as originally told to us. We got in and the internet did not work so we were not able to use our phones and TV. I made several calls to the Avari Team (property management) and the only response we got was that they were “getting it over to their team”. No one ever showed up to help during our whole stay. Upon further inspection in our room, a toilet paper roll was stuck in the toilet. When I called property management, they once again told me they were getting it over to their team. No one answered and we ended up having to dig it out ourselves in order to use the toilet. There was mold in the master shower as well as on the wall. There was feces smeared on the wall near the toilet in the master bathroom. There was blood stained on the decorative pillow in the living room. We were locked out of our room 2 other times in which we had to get maintenance from the complex to help us because property management was not responsive. I am currently working on getting in touch with the Avari Team to see what they can do because this stay was not worth our money. We will never stay in this condo or any condo that is managed by the Avari Team ever again. Stay far away from this unit!
