「Didn’t use amenities!! The only strange thing was there wasn’t a House Rules book stating how to navigate the house! There wasn’t any firewood for the wood burning fireplace which would have been nice for Christmas Eve, if we needed to get our own, it would’ve been good to know that?! There were not any exit rules as to bedding, garbage, etc!!!!!!! Otherwise no complaints!」

「The reception staff when we checked in was not friendly and didn’t welcome us or explain any of the amenities. Our bed was rock hard, very uncomfortable to sleep on. Also the tv did not work, couldn’t get channels on at all. The shower had low water pressure. Then after a rough night of sleep with the hard bed and hearing a guy snoring in the room behind our bed, the breakfast was nothing much. They had cereal, toast, yogurt and cups of fruit was all. I would not ever stay here again!」

The next morning was when all the terrible stuff started at about 7 am when the construction crew started nailing and working on the outside of the hotel. 「This place is rustic, but has potential. No communication from host as to how to get in. I tried emailing the host via VRBO, calling, and texting. 「Loved being out in the country and seeing the stars at night and watching the horses. The unit we stayed in could have been cleaner. Lot of dust and rust and bugs. Online listing says breakfast included, but that was oatmeal and granola bars and with 3 adults staying there for 2 nights, only 4 coffee pods. 」
