The staff was friendly and nice but they need to slow down on the computer and pay attention. The room was a little untidy as far as dusty and bathroom was not cleaned. So slow down on housekeeping.

We appriciated the cleanliness of the property. However, we did have an issue with the intial room as it had not been cleaned. (Staff did not show up) additionally the back door near our room was not able to be accessed from outside. This should be something that should be fixed. We did get a chance to use the hot tub and were pleasently suprised that the jets did not splash all up into our faces (Thank You). Excellent experince overall.

Small town inn. Was very nice to stay in. Appliances are old and things were not the most clean. But the people were very nice and I loved the cabin feel. If the bedding and appliances were upgraded, and cleanliness was more detailed it would be perfect! A great stay overall.

Update the place, clean it good, have cups for coffee in the morning, have better breakfast, clean the carpet, get the bugs out of the lighting, renew the furniture. ALL of it. You are in an area that people come to visit. We left there and went to Cuyuna Lakes Stay. How awesome it was. We loved it at Cuyuna Lakes Stay.

Nice stay in Deerwood

It could definitely use some updates. But it was a good place to stay and staff was friendly and helpful. And we would definitely stay here again. For food nearby, Coach’s was excellent, and just a short walk away.

A good location, but needs updating

I went to the Cuyuna area for mountain biking and needed a place to stay. The hotel was a fair price and the person who checked me in was friendly, attentive & was well suited for the job. However, the first room I went to smelled of smoke and the second one smelled of mildew. The bed was comfortable, but if there were other options in the immediate area I would not stay here again.

Checked in only to find out the pool was closed and the ice machine was broken. Got to the room and the toilet was clogged and water in the sink would not drain. Told the guy at the desk and went for supper. Came back to the same situation. Room was clean, bed was comfy, but the whole place needs some repairs done.
