We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Salty Seahorse! The accommodations were perfect for me and my husband and my two sons and their wives. So hard to believe that were only 45 minutes away. The weather for the week was perfect and the water was surprisingly still warm for swimming and walking out to Salt Island at low tide. We also enjoyed using the corn hole, outdoor fire pit, kayaks and paddle boards. Realizing that our stay was at the end of the summer season, the outdoor patio, carpets and outdoor furniture cushions needed some cleaning. We totally understand the toll of the salt water, wind & rain on the concrete and wood signage. The interior of the home however, was impeccable. The beachy decor inspired by the ocean and shoreline was throughout the entire home. Kitchen was equipped with all we needed although we did enjoy breakfasts at Christy's just up the street. Their variey of pancakes are incredible! Also not far from there is Bills Seafood which has awesome seafood, outdoor patio dining & entertainment ... and is known as the area's "Cheers". My husband and I are looking to move to the CT coastline and possibly Westbrook, so it was so nice to stay at the Salty Seahorse and get the feel for the area.Hoping we can stay again, unless of course we purchase a home in that area! - The Russell Crew
