Incredible mountain chalet with ample and airy living space and well-furnished bedrooms. The kitchen set up is incredible; we chose to eat-in for some meals and enjoy the outdoor balcony and surrounding nature. You will enjoy the views of the surrounding terrain and Lake Lure. The property is an easy drive to a lot of great activities - hiking, fishing, Asheville, Old Fort town (check out the brewery) but located in an exclusive and private mountain enclave that will make you feel like you are a world away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The host was extremely helpful and provided recommendations for places to eat and play golf in the surrounding area. Overall an incredible experience at a mountain home that was unforgettable!

This house is amazing! It is the nicest log cabin I’ve ever stayed in. My family had a wonderful time here and hopes to return soon. The deck had an amazing view and was a great place to start the day with coffee before our toddler got up and things got hectic. We really appreciated the fence along the edge of the yard so we had a place to play with a back stop. Some wild turkeys came up to the yard and my daughter got to see them and got very excited. There is a little hike in the neighborhood that was nice and easy to get to. We also hiked Catawba falls but that was a little long for us. Black mountain had a great restaurant and my wife liked shopping there, and I liked the brewery in old fort. Planning our next trip already!
