"Cleanish room. Just some minor things noticed like a washcloth hanging from the shower curtain from a previous customer but wasn’t bad for the type of motel. Weakest coffee I’ve ever had - essentially brown hot water. Had to go across the street to Sheetz for coffee but that was convenient for a late night snack."

"I had trouble checking in. The person at the desk had a lot of trouble finding my reservation. I’m not blaming her, just pointing out that apparently the reservation was hard to find on the computer. Also I think used towels need to be replaced every day without asking."

"This is an older hotel that is being renovated. Our room was remolded, very clean and comfortable. The area is right next to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Very quiet. There is a little restaurant just the road for dinner and a small coffee shop across the street that serves breakfast sandwiches and has great coffee. I would stay here again."

"Beware the induction stove! I booked the room to have a stovetop/kitchen, but it was an duction stovetop I could noy use it with my metal Italian coffee maker. Staff at check-in were good, but when I called about the stovetop later I was told they would be happy to sell me some suitable cookware and otherwise tough luck! The place is fully refurbished to a good level, my only real issue was the stovetop. Oh, and nowhere in the very nice shower to out soap and razor - no shelf at all!"
