A lovely hotel situated in the middle of a rural area so driving is a must. Indoor and outdoor pools, sauna and treatment rooms available. Food was good but repetitive so most days we had breakfast then spent of the day out and had dinner before going back to the hotel.

Very quiet and peaceful area. Amazing views on the nature from our bedroom. Nice hotel and room. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast (good choice). Nice swimming-pool. Friendly staff. It would have been nice to have a kettle in the bedroom for tea and coffee. Also the -2 floor (under the swimming-pool) was leaking and the ceiling there needed to be fixed and needed a little paint.

This is a lovely hotel with a beautiful view and pool. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel is a little isolated and you do have to drive to get to restaurants, beaches, town, but not very far. There is a restaurant and a bar and you get a fridge in your room.

Amazing oasis

A little off the beaten path but an amazing find. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The dinner was absolutely fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed finding this quiet private spot to relax by the pool and refresh.

Stunning views, friendly and helpful staff, good locational. However even after booking the Spa there was no staff there to facilitate and we were not able to use this. The room shower leaked. Not often staff at reception to help. Dinner was not good and very overpriced for what it was. The hotel is in need of upkeep.

From the moment you drive up the long driveway to Enigma, your first thoughts are that it’s a stunning hotel, an architect’s delight, with amazing views over the countryside. However there were some flaws of the hotel we noticed soon after entering the lobby. The hotel has so much potential to be more and do better than it was. Let me explain: No one was on the front desk at check in time and we were waiting for 10 minutes or so for someone to come greet us. The gentleman who did greet us was friendly and welcoming, however we found the whole service quite slow. There’s potential here to improve. The bedroom itself was large, with a good sized King Bed and a balcony with a view over the countryside. Some furnishings were a little dated and rusty however. There is potential to improve here. We visited the outdoor pool for the afternoon and this was nice, however the jacuzzi was closed and the pool itself seemed like it needed some better upkeep eg the pool ladder wasn’t properly secured and seemed broken. There’s potential to improve it here. We had a complimentary spa pass (via Expedia VIP Rewards), but this wasn’t offered to us at check in, so we didn’t see the spa. Breakfast the next morning was underwhelming to say the least. There was fruit, cereals, a few bits of charcuterie and cooked food to choose from, but the food itself lacked flavour. Also the coffee was undrinkable. All in all, this hotel has plenty of potential to be something greater than it is already.

Nice comfortable rooms with great landside view - enjoy the silence! :) Car is needed to to go there. But the hotel has nice facilities (pool, gym etc.). Breakfast is good. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. I arrived lately - no problem.

Very nice recent room, great view on the pool and mountains - in a remote area. The small spa section is nice, but jacuzzi still out of service. Breakfast varied depending on number of guests staying, but was good both days. Very friendly staff. Gym equipment very minimal. Would stay again

Hotel medonho e com péssima manutenção. Vidros guarda-corpos das varandas fissurados, puxador da porta do quarto solto, lâmpada da casa de banho fundida e um balde no corredor a amparar gotas de água do ar condicionado. Foi-nos dito que a "welcome drink" era... água no quarto... Absurdo. A cama é confortável, o quarto espaçoso e vista simpática.
