「If you’re looking for a minimalist, trendy and clean hotel look know further. The bed is very comfortable with the softest sheets. The donuts and coffee in their outdoor common area was a tasty surprise. There’s a healthy food market/deli across the street, a good brew pub on the corner and a donut shop within walking distance. Other than that, South Oceanside and this hotel are car/UBER dependent.」

「It was a perfect getaway for us with two little dogs. We were escaping the heat of Palm Springs. The patio area was so nice, walking distance to restaurants and enjoyed morning walks to Carlsbad which also had many good restaurants. We would definitely recommend South O and will come back. 」

「So many places close to eat and shop.beach close.manager onsite went out of her way to be helpful. We left a wedding gift in room and she took it to parking lot to give to a friend so it would be there in time at the wedding. She was wonderful 」
