The pictures do not capture how run down the property is. Everything felt grimy and dusty. There was vomit on the stairs going up. The pool had a visible layer of soil on the bottom.
I filtered expedia for free breakfast, but they don't have breakfast, only coffee.
Guy at the front desk seemed nice.
You get what you pay for. In Oceanside for a triathlon had a family member book the room. Bed was livable but floor wasnt clean, had sand on it. Horrible thin rough and tiny towels. If you need cheap this is your place.

Old econo lodge. Right off the fwy. Ac worked well. Room is old, dated but generally clean. Smells old but not dirty. Has fridge and microwave. They hold $100 cc for incidentals.
In my 43 years is life, I've never stayed in a more repulsive place. There was a roach on the headboard when i walked in. The bathroom was water damaged and moldy. The freezer was filled with dirty ice layers that was dripping onto the fridge shelves. The walls are so thin, I had to listen to the upstairs neighbor stomp around until very late into the night. I have a lot more pictures reflecting the poor conditions, but Hotels.com won't upload them. Book at your own risk.
Room was not ready when we arrived (well after check-in time. 11pm and no room was ready for us) room was dirty, bathroom vanity was crumbling at the corners and my TODDLERS GOT PINK EYE FROM THE PILLOWS!!!!
They’re lucky we don’t report them to the proper authorities (BBB)
Check-in was horrendous. The man was rude, made us do unnecessary stuff, threw my money at me. Then the room was horrible. It rained that night and even tho we were on the first floor water was pouring down our walls. Woke up to find several cockroaches playing on the floor. The bathroom looked ok but smelled horrible. Could not get the smell to go away, running the fan made it worse. We asked to be moved to another room the next day. Thankfully they didn't give us a hard time and moved us. It was a better looking room. Didn't see any bugs but the smell in the bathroom was the same. I think it was actually coming from the fan itself. Never EVER EVER again would I stay here. The street is cleaner than this place.
