  • "The Garden Retreat" A piece of Paradise is located in Old Ocean Springs on a quite cul-de-sac street. It has mature trees & gardens in the front & backyard. An all weather back porch for relaxing over looking the serene scenery. The Back Yard is Privacy Fence which is great for children & your privacy. There is parking for 4 vehicles in front. A boat or car can be parked behind the privacy gate. The Master Bedroom Suite has a Queen Size bed; the Middle Bedroom has a Queen Bed & the third bedroom has a Queen Bed. It sleep 6 people in 3 bedrooms. A full laundry room. All the furniture & Mattresses are new along with the TV & décor. Cable & Hi Speed Wi-Fi are provided. The Kitchen is fully equipped with complimentary coffee & tea. A Stainless Steel Grill is just outside under a Pergola. There is an outdoor patio with table & chairs for outdoor enjoyment.
    You can walk down Government Street which has many small restaurants & shops. Nearby Washington Ave., downtown in Ocean Springs, is tree lined with old oak trees, shops, restaurants & the Walter Anderson Museum of Art. The house is approximately 1.5 miles from Front & East Beach in Ocean Springs. It's just a short drive across the Biloxi/Ocean Springs Bridge to Biloxi which has 6 Casinos & a 26 mile beach for fun & activities. Loved the proximity to the downtown area. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was nicely updated and efficient. The backyard was great for us and our dog, Gemma. I will stay here again.

Home away from home

You can walk downtown and earn your TatoNut. There are beach supplies which was nice to have as well. Very quiet street and very convenient. Definitely a great place to stay with your family.

Great Gathering Place

The Garden Retreat was just the right place for us to stay during our visit. Close enough to feel part of the action but far enough away to not feel overwhelmed. Beds were comfortable and neighbors were friendly!

Great location

The house was plenty big for the 3 of us and had all of the equipment we needed. The washer and dryer were really nice to have. Ocean Springs is such a nice town. I recommend renting the golf cart. It's such a great way to get around downtown and to the beach.

Worthwhile Garden Get Away

We really enjoyed our time at "The Garden Retreat." It is centrally located to downtown Ocean Springs. We walked to a couple of local spots from it. The house was roomy and it was nice to spread out. Our host Rose was great and getting in to the place was super simple. We would stay there again.

Great Place to Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the house and will be back. The living area and amount of bedrooms/bathrooms was perfect for our family. The fenced in yard was great for our dog. The a/c worked great even in the hottest part of the summer. We also enjoyed all the seating on the back porch. The location was fantastic. The owner was very responsive.

Relaxing stay

We enjoyed our stay. Our daisy loved to run. It was very well equipped and the owner answered quickly. As a casino goer I visited the casinos and nice to have a 1 level for stay! My husband and daisy went to the beach. Daisy is our dog!

Great weekend getaway

Had a wonderful time visiting Ocean Springs and staying at The Garden Retreat. The home was roomy and comfortable. We spent a lot of time in the lovely back yard with our fur baby. It was a short walk to the downtown area where we walked around at the Peter Anderson Festival and shopped in the many stores. We highly recommend staying at The Garden Retreat. An Amazing Location

Rose was an amazing host! We have used VRBO before for trips and this was by far our easiest check-in as well. The location is great and the house was so comfortable. Our dog had a great time as well. She made two new friends with the turtles in the backyard. We highly recommend this property, and are planning another stay in the future.

Three C's!

Clean, comfortable and convenient. Stayed a month and had all we needed for that long stay. Doggie made good use of nicely fenced back yard. As a 2 generation group, we were able to quickly get to all the attractions we wanted to visit.
