We had great communication with the homeowner up to the point of having issues with the refrigerator and AC upon arrival. The refrigerator had a difficult time keeping up with the transition of guests, but began working by the next morning. It still didn't keep drinks extremely cold. The AC did not get fixed until the next day and it took until late into the night for it to cool down. The contact number left for the homeowner was incorrect, but we were able to get in touch with the VRBO app.
The downstairs bedrooms have a dehumidifier that is not mentioned in the descriptions. The first morning we woke up the linens and items in the room were damp. We had to empty the dehumidifier twice each day in order for it to work. When reaching out to the homeowner he took longer to respond AND said that it wouldn't be fixed until Saturday....the day we were leaving. We had to continue to empty twice a day. When reaching out about our concern, we never heard a reply from the homeowner. This is not acceptable service. You also have to go outside and come into the house for access to the kitchen and living area.
Also, the home had dog hair on the cushions and rugs outside. We had a guest allergic to dogs and when I reached out to ask about whether there had been dogs present, I was again heard nothing.
We asked for a price adjustment for our issues, which were many, but still have not heard a reply. We will obviously not be staying at this home again, which is sad because it is a great location.
