    The Space:

    The Irene invites you to come and relax on the ocean! You'll enjoy a magnificent oceanfront and bayside view from this sixth-floor end unit - very few homes in Ocean City offer such a beautiful view of the ocean and the bay in one property. Enjoy watching the sunrise on your large ocean-side balcony and then have dinner watching the sunset on the bayside private balcony. Inside, you'll find an open space decorated with cheerful beach decor. The well-equipped kitchen offers a full suite of appliances, and the whole gang can dine together at the table for eight or grab a barstool for a casual meal. Two separate TV areas and in-home WiFi provide indoor entertainment options; four TVs have Roku devices, and there is a DVD player with many DVDs.



    You'll also have access to shared amenities, including a gym and game room.

    The 75 foot ocean front pool is open June 1 through Labor day weekend (subject to change per building management)

    Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

We really enjoyed the facility and the new pool was an absolute delight. Parking was sufficient, the views were incredible, and the unit we stayed in was pretty nice. Some standard kitchen amenities were lacking (I purchased/donated a sauce pan due to lack of satisfactory cookware). The closet on the front porch was stocked with super convenient beach supplies (cart, chairs, beach toys) which was an awesome unexpected bonus. The check in process was a bit rocky. The keyless entry malfunctioned upon our arrival which coincided with the late arrival of the cleaning crew. Once we finally gained access, the cleaning crew did an admirable yet rushed job of cleaning the place (i think Dirty Mike and the Boyz were the previous tenants). Overall, this unit (607) was awesome and we would definitely consider renting again.

While the property itself was fine, check-in process was awful and the communication with the local office, with the exception of the maintenance guy to fix the lock was terrible.First, the video (with the directions) to open the lock was wrong, so we had to call the office. Then the code wouldn't work; the second code worked, but then we called the office to explain the deadbolt wasn't fully retracting, so they gave us the lockbox code (for a key), but the code was incorrect! We bagged our evening plans and stayed in. We called the next morning for maintenance - they weren't exactly proactive about helping - and gave me a second code for the lockbox, which was wrong. We told them we were leaving the unit unlocked so we could go out for the day. Dave, the maintenance guy, called me - he was great! He showed up while we were out and confirmed that, yes, the deadbolt wasn't working and that BOTH lockbox codes we were given were wrong! NO follow-up from the local office, just some "bot" messages. Very frustrating.
