Room was much smaller than the photos led us the believe. AC only worked sporadically. Pet odor (dog?) when we checked in. Exterior needs serious maintenance. No elevators, all exterior hallways. Front desk staff was nice. Breakfast was stale packaged food. The price of the room was much higher when we booked than the day of, no price adjustment given. All and all, this place is a motel with a half-hearted reno on decorative elements of the rooms, the exterior was a mess. Few amenities. Value for the price was terrible.

Parking was relatively easy the room was surprisingly clean but for 245 dollars it could have been better.. staff was extremely friendly the biggest down sides were the A/C was spotty working then not working and the pillows were basically Bricks… also check in was extremely confusing having to go into another hotel to check in was odd and for someone who wouldn’t know it was a waste of time trying to figure it out. But outside of those few things it was a decent stay of the pillows were better and the price better fit to “get what you pay for” it would have been a better experience.

Overall it was perfect for country calling. There’s a shuttle at the hotel next door that we took everyday down to the entrance for $5 cash. The beds were comfortable, clean and the shower water was hot. I almost ended up cancelling though because during the off season it is nearly impossible to reach the hotel!! I called probably 10 times and couldn’t get an answer on my booking until Expedia themselves contacted me about changing the days we were staying. While the location was great, convenient and good for the price for country calling, the lack of communication was just shocking. As someone who travels often this customer service really needs to improve or I think sales will really suffer.

Won't book there again.

The free breakfast is not what is expected. They didn't even restock the break/ bar they said they had. Not enough towels for 3 people. Also if you paid for the room be advised they charge you an extra 75 dollars on your card. It is returned. But don't let it catch you by suprised. The water takes forever to warm up. They rooms need work on. The bathroom was molded and dirty. Wasn't impressed, disappointed 😕.

Mold on the bathroom ceiling, light fixture exposed with mold and filth. The tube was dirty so was the toilet. It was so filthy.

unfortunately i guess "you get what you pay for"

The room appeared clean for the most part, however, the floor had some sand and may have not been cleaned recently because it somewhat blackened the bottoms of our feet when we walked around barefoot so not super clean. Also, there was no one to check us in when we arrived and had to go to the neighboring hotel, which has some type of partnership with the hotel we were staying at to check in. The office/lobby of our hotel rarely had anyone in it (we were supposed to get coffee and a basic breakfast at eight in the morning and often the office had not even opened up by eight in the morning). We were also supposed to have a queen size bed, and did not, and because there were no office staff anywhere we weren't able to get that rectified at all.

Filthy. Dead bugs, dirt, food debris, water rings on tables. Wood bubbled up from water damage. Broken sofa with brown smears, gnats flying out of sink and towels. Dirt caked into dried pee streaks on bath baseboards around toilet and behind bath door. Food or who know what splattered walls in whole unit around trash cans. Dirt crusted in mini fridge. No support by staff at any time. Absent with notice to see the nearby hotel for help. Have no idea about the wifi and any amenities since no communications. Did not use shower because it was gross and we never touched bare feet to floor it was so dirty and crunchy. Curtains did not stay covered over windows. AC units would blow them apart easily so over night, 4 inches opened and walking traffic would see me and my children sleeping easily on display. Microtel people who helped us get checked in in the early evening friday and later when keys were not working we nice. But they couldn't fix the keys and with absent staff for the Shore House, its unlikely we could have had them fixed. I should not have paid for 1 night let alone 2. Stay away unless youre a drunk and dont care or are used to wallowing in others dirt. Fine. All i needed was clean. Even old is ok. Clean is the bare minimum and this place couldn't handle that. Dont believe any good picture- its just lipstick on a dirty pig.
