Brushwood Studio

Brushwood Studio is a fabulous self contained, eco-friendly, private and cozy space, perfect for a weekend getaway for one or two people. We are situated between the forest and the spectacular Southern Ocean. Short walks take you to Ocean Beach and Wilson Inlet in one direction and the Bibbulmun and Munda Biddi tracks in the other. Denmark town centre is only a short drive away, but if you'd rather be more outdoors, there is also a cycle/walk path that goes all the way from Ocean Beach to town. When you have finished exploring, sit and relax in your private courtyard and then get a dreamy night's sleep in your super comfy King Bed.

What a gem this place was. From walking into the picturesque courtyard, & up onto the deck, and opening the door into a beautiful cozy studio, and then opening the fridge and finding a beautiful platter waiting for us. Lots of information of the area, things to do and where to eat, which had been personalised on the front with our names. Not to mention the lovely toiletries and big comfy bed. This place is just perfect and spotlessly clean. Thank you so much Christine and Graham, we loved our visit here. You have created a beautiful studio and garden.

We loved our stay in this quietly elegant and comfortable studio. The small courtyard is beautiful - serene and original with owner creativity apparent. Great bed, all eco friendly products, everything extremely fresh and clean. We really appreciated the welcoming platter of cheeses, homemade relish and wine. It was generous and delicious. The little things that count.

Clean, comfortable and more generous space than we have experienced in more expensive accomodation. But the thought that has gone into the small touches and things that you always need, but don't necessarily bring, was impressive and appreciated. Location was easily accessible and very quiet. It is always a disappointment though when we do not meet the hosts. We like face to face contact.

It’s all in the detail

I could go on about how clean, tidy, inviting this stay was, great location, serene environment, blah blah blah… but I have to tell you about the smaller details… because they are the bits that make you rave about a stay and want to come back. A sensational local cheese platter with red wine upon arrival was a surprise… and very welcomed. Loved it! Quality furnishings. Really inviting outdoors setting. The eco conscious parts that showed care for our environment. Peacefulness. Quality, fully equipped bathroom. Well done. You know what really made me decide on a full 5 star rating?? It was the little flap that covered the microwave clock so that there weren’t glaring lights at night. As a light sleeper, I picked up on how thoughtful this gesture was immediately. That’s legendary status in my well-travelled books. An overall great experience. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for such a well thought out place to stay.

Lovely studio in a great location

We had a great time in Denmark. The studio has everything you could possibly need and more and the owners go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable. Great location as well - 10 to 20 minutes from most of Denmark's sightseeing attractions.
