On the outskirts of Oberharmersbach, amidst meadows and forests, the "Brandenkopf" holiday apartment is located on a hill, approximately 450 m above sea level. Ideal for a quiet, stress-free vacation, the charming apartment consists of a living kitchen with a sofa bed for 2 people and a dishwasher, one bedroom, and a bathroom, accommodating up to 4 people. The living kitchen can be separated by a sliding wall, creating a second bedroom. The beds have toppers and are very comfortable.
The child-friendly apartment features satellite TV and Wi-Fi. A baby cot and a booster seat are also available upon request. Your private open terrace invites you to start the morning with a hot cup of coffee outdoors while admiring the beautiful, green surroundings. Garden furniture and a grill are provided. These are located in a kind of arbor (unheated) with large windows, which belongs to the apartment. In the arbor, there is also a seating area from which you can admire the landscape. Younger guests can let off steam on the playground or observe the animals in the area.
A Raiffeisen market, offering a selection of groceries, drugstore items, and baked goods, is about a 20-minute walk away. The nearest supermarket is approximately 2.5 km away. In 23 minutes by car (11.9 km), you can reach the Brandenkopf observation tower, the highest elevation in the central Black Forest (943 m). A view from the approximately 30 m high observation tower brings the Rhine Valley, the Vosges, the Feldberg, and the Swiss Alps a bit closer. The popular Europa Park amusement park is also only an hour's drive from the accommodation (51.4 km).
Regarding sustainability, the holiday home excels in many areas. There is a source for its own drinking and utility water directly at the house, which is, of course, regularly tested according to legal regulations. Additionally, the apartment has its own sewage treatment plant, so attention is paid to which cleaning or washing agents are used on-site. Furthermore, the central heating is powered by wood chips from the property's own forest, and electricity is generated using a photovoltaic system.
A parking space is available on the property. Bringing up to 2 pets is allowed upon prior arrangement for a fee. Bed linen and towels are included in the price.
