  • Cruachan cabin is a modern, cosy, self catering cabin situated on a family run croft in Connel Village, just 5 miles from Oban. Wake up to views of Ben Cruachan and surrounding farmland. An open plan living/dining space with induction hob, microwave oven and a waterfall shower, an ideal place to come back to after a day of exploring the West Highlands.

    Cruachan Cabin is just a minutes walk from the main village of Connel. The cabin is 5 miles from Oban town centre which is full of restaurants cafe, shops and bars providing both local and tourists all that they need. Whether you are travelling for a boat excursion, a family holiday or working trip, the cabins location will suit all.

    There’s two bus stops and a train station that’ll take you on a 10 minute journey into Oban.
    No pets, smoking or parties/events.

Lovely stay at the cozy cabin

The cabin was very comfortable, clean and with all the necessary amenities. It is in a very peaceful, quiet location and perfectly located for visits to the islands, Glen Coe, Loch Awe etc etc. We had a wonderful stay and were blessed with amazing weather.

Calme et emplacement idéal

Chalet très bien équipé et emplacement ideal pour visiter Oban et ses environs. Visites amicale de quelques chevreuils le soir! Un vai plaisir !

Overall sehr gut, alles sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Kleine Abzüge nur, weil die Tür nach draußen nicht ganz dicht ist und ggf. Insekten durch den größeren Spalt reinkommen könnten. Ansonsten alles super :)

Lovely little house , a gorgeous kind welcome gift of scones butter and jam and some fresh eggs and milk . Lovely too see the deers in the fields at night. Perfect location two min walk to train station in to oban. Amazing hotel right behind it also for a great meal and drinks. All in all a perfect stay . If they added a hottub would be perfect for the rainy nights. Will book again if ever staying in oban though. Thank you ♡
