「I had a bit of a time getting in. Whatever was supposed to load on my phone would not, so I had to call the number outside (there’s no one on-site) and they were able to help me get in. It was a bit weird sleeping in bunk beds in my 50s, but the mattress was good, and the room temperature was controllable, which I much appreciated (I like a cool room), and the bathroom was nice. The TV remote batteries had died, so I emailed the hotel, and someone immediately brought new ones over, The staff...

「Staff great very friendly,service great」

「Kind staff」

「The Dalrigh House was clean and quiet, and those qualities are important to us. However, we thought that "private bathroom" meant that it was exclusively ours. This was a misunderstanding on our part, and we don't blame the hotel for that. We left our towels in the bathroom, thinking that no one else was using it, and they were taken by housekeeping. After that, we tried to contact Dalrigh House via messages, and because we didn't receive a prompt response, we ended up having to use a single...

「We picked this place because it had excellent ratings. My experience was: Very difficult to unload car on an incredibly tight road. I had a heated row with a local resident who was very aggressive. The parking which was at a public viewing point was up a steep hill about 400 meters away. The bathroom was not cleaned well with unpleasant marks in the toilet, dusty bin lids etc. cobwebs and dirt on window. House was run down and very outdated. Walk into town was about 12 minutes down steep...

「Absolutely stunning place!!! The rooms are huge, the property itself is simply breath taking. Staff are the best!!! A must-stay when visiting the highlands.」
