The team at Casa Soledad were so kind and helpful. They provided us with an additional fan during our stay, assisted us with our bags and were very lovely to our 2 dogs. Can’t wait to go back!

I travel to Oaxaca frequently. The hotel I usually stay at was booked so I stayed here. This hotel is a lot more secure than the other one and is located in a convenient location. I was able to get around with no problem. The staff is really attentive. I highly recommended this hotel if you're in Oaxaca.

Didn't like that there is no TV. Other visitors who wake up too early were very noisy. Better pillows or more pillows.

The positive is that the area is quiet and the rooms are relatively clean. The shared kitchen is ok, but there is NOT laundry facility. Unfortunately the hotel administration is terrible, one morning the shower broke and it began gushing hot water. I reported the problem immediately before 9 am, I was told it will be repaired that day. After a full day of walking and sightseeing, we came back at 6 pm, and the shower was not repaired and the room was full of steam. We were promised it would be fixed while we were out for dinner. It was not fixed when, we had to sleep with the sound of running water and the hot steam. Next morning the water was cut off, with no previous warning. We decided to go somewhere else. Be warned they do not accept credit cards, and they want you to pay all in cash as soon as you arrive. Luckily, I had only paid for the first three nights, I did not have to fight to get my money back.

Excelente lugar, el servicio fue muy bueno, me ayudaron a resolver todas mis solicitudes. La limpieza se hizo los dias que yo lo pedi. Me apoyaron con el resguardo de mi equipaje ya que llegue antes y sali después definitivamente podria regresar la siguiente ocasion que vaya a Oaxaca.

La propiedad es un tipo de casa muy característica de Oaxaca, con pocos cuartos, muy limpia, con detalles como una cocina comunitaria y una terraza muy agradable. La comunicación con la gente a cargo siempre fue muy buena. El único problema fue la llegada en auto, ya que la calle es muy estrecha y había un registro de cableado que estaba roto, pudimos pasar apenas pero otro auto si cayó en el registro y no pudo salir. De ahí en fuera todo bien con el lugar, incluso pudimos meter la camioneta.
