「Nice ambiance inside and out. Great AC and ceiling fan (we want one just like it now). It was a nice retreat after 6 days of college tours. Cabin is in the middle of lots of hiking and river fun. Nothing bad about the cabin, just be aware there’s only a couple places to eat within miles and their hours / days vary. Oark Country Store and Byrd’s are nearby and both are excellent. 」

「There was a pad lock on the outside of the only door to the place. It was not a safe place to stay. I called VRBO 10 minutes after I arrived at the place I did not enter. I left and was on the phone with VRBO for at least an hour trying to get a refund. VRBO refused a refund telling me the place was fine to stay in. VRBO did not take me safety into consideration only the opinion of the host. VRBO and the host said to take the lock inside with me but the fact remains that someone could have come...

「It was as advertised, very secluded and peaceful. I would just make sure you get the directions and check-in procedures saved before you get there as you likely will not have cell service. The host can't help that though and was very helpful once we able to connect. Great overall. 」

「My family and I had a wonderful time staying here. The views from the front porch are amazing. The cabin is very spacious and clean we were a group of 10 and had plenty of room. There was so many trails and scenic areas to explore close to the cabin, such a beautiful place. Our host was wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. We hope to return next year. 」
