This was my first VRBO and it was a wonderful experience. The host was very friendly, helpful, accommodating, and responded very quickly. The place was lovely and charming. My kids had a great time and we had a very comfortable stay.

Absolutely loved this house and our stay. The host was very responsive and friendly. We booked the home to have a small family gathering and it was perfect. The house was super clean and cozy. They had everything that we needed. We would definitely book this home again!

It was raining the whole time so we had to modify our plans. We had a great time exploring Alameda and staying in the house. The house was clean and cozy. The beds were comfortable. Miguel the host was great. He responded to any questions or requests in a very timely fashion. We will be back!

Didn't meet the host, but was very helpful online in answering questions. The house worked wonderfully for our group of 3 adults. Its within walking distance of many restaurants, coffee shops, etc. We were there for 4 nites for a seminar, and if we need to come down again for something similar, I'll try to book this house again. We were all extremely pleased with it. Thank you so much!

Quiet & Bright!

Large, quiet space with high ceilings and tons of natural light. Great appliances and clean home. The only thing to note is that the third bedroom has to walk through another bedroom to use the bathroom. So this is a good place for a family but not work colleagues.

It was extremely cold. The next day he brought over a space heater that helped but wasn't enough. We also had to request toilet paper and trash bags which he brought over 1 trash bag and 2 rolls of toilet paper.

Stairs

The 13 stairs to enter the property were the major issue. Unless it is in very tiny print, the property details did not include this information for people with disabilities. My sister is 78 and has mobility issues, and the stairs were a detriment to in and out activities. Generally clean, except for the dishes, pots and pans, and the drawers in the bathroom. There were no instructions from the host on checking in (to include wifi) or checking out. The host was VERY responsive when contacted.

We appreciated this pet friendly stay! There was no yard for the pets to use but there was a park across the street that was handy. We have a senior dog so the stairs were a challenge for him at times. The house was spacious and clean with fans and screened windows to open to cool the home. Overall we were comfortable and happy with the stay. A few improvements would make it just about perfect:1) some utensils and plates were not clean2) kitchen could use more skillets and baking items for food prep, a few more plates and bowls as well3) ice maker was not functioning and we did not know how to turn it on4) we were unsure of where to deposit our trash upon leaving the home 5) the key safe on the door knob makes it difficult to turn the little door knob.6) the water pressure in the shower was great but the hot water there and at the sinks can be extremely hot!I hope this is helpful to renters and to the owner. We would certainly entertain staying there again.

Positives-Price-Location-ParkingThings to Improve- Send check in instructions a day earlier so its clear how to access the property- Please have trash bags at property (I asked multiple times eventually had to buy myself- Consider oil etc amenities for cookimg- Consider having Washing machine and dryer- Fix the clothing iron as it didnt work

The house is darling with much natural light. The dining room is especially quaint. The two larger bedrooms were a fine size but the beds were smaller than I expected. The host did not respond to my text until the day of my visit which made me a little nervous because I had not booked a VRBO before. There were three bags of half eaten chips in the kitchen cupboard when we arrived and dirty socks in the small bedroom dresser. The house was within walking distance to downtown Alameda which was nice and there was off street parking which was very helpful.
