Other recreational areas include Bass Lake (5 miles), Kerckhoff Lake (7 miles), Redinger Lake (11 miles) and Mammoth Pool Reservoir (43 miles). These are great lakes in the Sierra National Forest with swimming, boating and fishing! It's a great place to relax and enjoy the mountain views.

unfortunately the house is pretty rough

Seems obvious they slapped some paint on a pretty messed up house. Main issues: 1 small pot and 1 small pan / no real cooking supplies / mattresses we're really cheap and uncomfortable / walls we're pretty dirty / the bathroom really smelled like mildew / there was trash on the property / internet did not work and there was no follow through for reestablishing it / there were no trash bins or trash bags / there was only 1 dishwasher pack / there were open holes in the ceiling and walls / kitchen cabinet doors were broken or not hung / bathroom door was broken / closet door was broken: check in was easy but there were no house rules handbook etc. This place could be nice because the location is good and the deck is pretty but it really needs to be cleaned up and things need to be fixed. The price was pretty average but with the addition of fees it was not cheap. I definitely would NOT spend my money to stay here again.
