「Nice quiet setting. The host and his staff were very welcoming. The bar and restaurant were bright and tidy and welcoming. The kitchen was closing as we arrived however the host accommodated us with a lovely freshly cooked meal. Bed very comfy and it was very quiet through the night. Nice tea/coffee making facilities and toiletries. Everything we needed. There wasn’t a proper shower however there was a bath but this was noted in the property details when we booked. Decor a bit old-fashioned but...

「The property might be rated three star but the staff are rated five star in our mind. They were polite, attentive, efficient and engaging when spoken to. The hotel and the whole of Rutland we found to be really helpful and polite. It`s the way Norfolk used to be but is sadly lacking in a lot of establishments these days. Nice to see that hospitality is still alive and well in Rutland and surrounding areas, The hotel is looking a little tired but didn`t spoil our stay any way, shape or form....

「Amazing hotel. The decor is beautiful and all staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. Nice to hear 'sir' and 'madam'. I thought that kind of politeness had been lost, seems not. The breakfast was the best weve ever had. All staff seemed very hapoy in their work. Lovely to hear jolly voices, even behind the scenes.
