We loved Oakham, it is a lovley little English town. It is very easy to walk around with great little shops and cafe's. We were visiting to watch our son play rugby at Oakham school, and we loved our overall experience.

"Enjoyed our stay overall. Bed comfortable, room clean. Breakfast was good but no granola or beans on the first day, tinned and packaged goods why run out? Pitch and putt course poorly maintained. Pool good, sauna open, steam room closed, so again disappointing."

"Lovevly night away! Hosts made it so easy and hassle free. Room was very clean, had a peaceful nights sleep! Had dinner down the road in a pub called the wheatsheaf! Which was very nice! Rutland water is only a 15min drive! Thanks again to the host!"

"The room I had was roomy and clean, bathroom/shower again clean and spacious. Equipment and white goods suited my needs. Entrance to the room a little dark as outside lights didn't react early enough. Overall I would book again if in that area."
