「The La Monastica resort was a wonderful place with a staff who were exceptionally welcoming, pleasant and helpful. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The location and grounds were beautiful with some modern influences in decor but really maintaining the overall old world charm and aesthetic of the monastery. We really enjoyed time in the bar playing cards and drinking some great cocktails.」

「This is a hostel but I booked a private room - this was an amazing room with a bed downstairs and the main bedroom and bathroom upstairs. It's in an amazing location and the view from my room was great」

「Unfortunately the air conditioning didn’t work in our room, so we were moved to another room. That one has an ant infestation. The next room we were given smelled like smokers. The only room left was clean but the a/c didn’t not blow cold air at all. Could not sleep because of temperature. Staff at desk was trying to be helpful.」

「We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel San Marco. Pietro was kind and knowledgeable and the staff at breakfast were also extremely nice and fast to respond. Breakfasts were fine and the room was very comfortable. The bar came in handy as well. Here are the only negatives: no facial tissues (not a huge deal but it was just a bit strange. So here's the only REAL problem: the cleaning staff were EXTREMELY loud starting at 8 AM in the hallway outside our room. Loud talking, laughing, banging stuff,...

「It was very nice to stay. I enjoyed my staying very much. Hotel staffs are kind and perfect.」

「Molto pulito」

「Valentina and Pietro were both amazing. Property location was perfect. Clean, different and facilities were excellent. Loved the fact that Valentina kept in touch all through our stay and sent helpful guides and map to us. Also lovely pictures of Lucca. We will return.」

「It was a beautiful property and location. I’d definitely go back. Barbara, Julien and Dad were the most wonderful hosts. Thank you!」
