  • Enjoy this family-friendly beach house on quiet street within walking distance to the beach. It's newly built with luxury amenities and clean for your comfort. Enjoy the screened-in porch, front & back decks, and the outdoor shower. Gas grill conveniently located on the back deck. Remote check-in and check-out plus direct communication with owners for your needs. Sheets and kitchen towels are provided as well as a starter kit of supplies (laundry detergent, hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, garbage bags, dish soap). Non-shedding dogs under 20 pounds are welcome for an additional $100 fee. Come relax and enjoy your vacation!

Beautiful house minutes from beach

This house is a gem on Oak Island. Very clean and has everything you need. Also very easy walk to the beach (cars will kindly stop for you to cross the main street). Walkable to restaurants and the best ice cream ever. Highly recommend!

Caswell family vacation

Oak Island

It was a pleasure staying in such a clean and updated house. Close enough to the beach, plenty of restaurants and stores within 15 minutes(walking distance). Being able to stay in connect with the home owner was very convenient and made everything that much easier to get access to the house. I recommend this house to anyone looking for something great in location, cleanliness, space, and price!

Great family vacay in Oak Island.

The property was beautiful and contained everything we need to have the perfect family vacation. We loved the outdoor shower as well! I will say the street that we had to cross to get to the beach was very very busy to cross with young children. But overall we loved our stay! I would recommend getting a golf cart and we will do that next time for sure! I would definitely recommend this house!

We came to Oak island for the Pledge the Pink Breast Cancer walk. The home was in an ideal location, short golf cart ride to everywhere we needed to be! Clean, spacious and VERY organized! We loved resting our legs sitting on the back porch each evening. Would definitely come back!

Perfect stay at Oak Island

The house is exactly as wonderful as the listing would have you believe. We had a great stay. It’s close to the beach, the downstairs shower, hose for rinsing and covered place to store beach stuff are incredibly convenient. Furniture and beds are comfortable, the back porch is terrific. The only thing maybe I wish I’d known is that you have to cross a busy road to get to the beach. But it’s easy enough to drive over and it didn’t take away from our trip at all. I can’t wait to come back.

Vacation Rental Summary

The Rental Property was very nice and nicely decorated. It was very clean. A lot of stairs to get your luggage etc. up to the living area. However once everything was taking up the facility was nice. The television programming was somewhat aggravating to navigate but there were plenty of entertaining programs for the small children.

You can't go wrong ataying here. Clean, up-to-date, short walk to beach. Perfect pick. Be sure to bring your own towels. We didnt read the listing very well and ran to Walmart to buy towels so now we have our own traveling sets. You can rent towel sets for around $5 per a guest at local companies. This has been a great stay from beginning to end. The best vrbo stay!!! We will use this host again.

Beautiful place

This house is so cute. Open concept home, with board games and toys for little ones. Love that there was enough dishwashing detergent, cleaning supplies, hand soap for entire weekend stay. Communication was quick. Check In was easy. Need to cross busy road to get to beach, but not a huge deal. I would say it’s about a 12 minute walk to the beach. Would definitely book here again.

Cozy house

We came for her daughter’s wedding on Oak Island. The house looks very new, and it’s nicely decorated. Owners were easy to communicate with. One should know that there is no iron or ironing board or hairdryer. Fortunately, we could borrow these from other wedding guests. Since we were there for a wedding, we definitely needed to iron some items before the event. There was only one set of towels per person. We are the owners of two vacation rentals so we are familiar with how much work it is to share cottages with others. The owners do a very good job making their cottage a welcoming place to stay.
