This accommodation really deserves a 9/10. The only downside is that the swimming pool is only available during limited hours (10h00 - 19h00. This is not mentioned in the online advertisement and you only find out about it some weeks before your stay, through the email containing the instructions. When travelling with children, this creates unwanted time pressure, as you need to make sure you are back from a day trip in time to still enjoy the pool. The accommodation can be ventilated by opening the windows, but unfortunately there are no mosquito screens, with the predictable result. However this is a very nice stay with nice pool and well equipped. A lot to do in the neighbourhood also

Mooie vakantiewoning

What a view!

The view of Nyons from this property is simply stunning. You have breathtaking vistas of the mountains and town below and the home itself is gorgeous. The master and second bedroom are spacious enough and the living area is incredibly unique. Plenty of amenities, it was march so we didn't get to use the pool but it looked nice, as well as outdoor accommodations that would be excellent in the summer. Parking is fairly close off street below the house, the owners were very kind despite the language barrier, they provided some treats and we were able to buy some olive oil from their orchard! The only downside was the wifi was absolutely not reliable or really useful, this did provide some difficulty for my wife and I due to remote work needs but overall the stay was wonderful.

Lovely property

Gite was as discribed in the initial booking. Owners, all though there was a language issue we managed to communicate when needed. We didn't see too much of them which was a good thing. The only issue we had was the incline to the property from the car park to the cottage and then to the pool. My wife who has mobility issues could not manage to make the steps up to the very nice pool ares. Perhaps this is something that could be added to the initial discription. Other than that it was an enjoyable stay, we would return...
