「This place really is paradise. Me and my girlfriend spent 9 nights here and had a fantastic time. The bungalows are spacious with your own sun beds overlooking the sea which is no more than 10/20 meters away. Food is very good and the portions are very generous. We did some excursions organised by the hotel and again everything ran perfect and was very enjoyable. 「The best thing about this hotel is undoubtedly the staff, especially Eric and the two lads in the restaurant. They take what is already a decent hotel and make it an amazing one. Unfortunately, the airline lost our luggage, but Eric immediately stepped in and helped us. 「The ocean view amazing but you had to work for it. Lots of steps. (We stayed in the highest bungalow) There are no roads on the island. You get there by boat. The reception was amazing. 「I just returned from a 9 night stay avdchete are my observations: The hotel is very centrally located and just seconds away from the beach and the main bars and restaurants. It has good sound proofing so no disruption to sleep or rest. They have backup power generators so no disruption to air conditioning, hot water etc. There are lots of stray dogs around but they don't bother you. The area felt safe but Blue Velvet has 24 hour security for peace of mind. The restaurant staff are great...
