「Centrally located but quiet. Great staff. Beautiful pool and shared kitchen and cabana area. For the price, it’s very good/what you would expect. The rooms are simple and parts of the facility are old, but that is why it is priced more affordably than other hotels. I would definitely stay there again if I stay in the same financial bracket. If I had more money, I would ideally like to have a more comfortable mattress and newer windows that close fully and no smell of mold. But all in...

「The Sunset Shack was fantastic for our family trip to Nosara. The beach is super close, and the town is very cute. We were right in the middle of it all. Monkeys in the mango trees on the property in the morning, and iguanas roaming all day. The food, the staff, and the hotel itself were all 5 stars! We would love to return to Nosara, and would not stay anywhere else. Thank you Sunset Shack!」

「The hotel is well deserved of their michelin star! The staff were AMAZING! We met Miri & Jaime (owners) as well, they were so personable and cool to chat with. They gave so much attention to detail including the rooms. It was so comfortable and so well thought out. Even the hairdryer was giving high end. Breakfast was to die for. Presentation even. This place is better than any other high end hotel including the Four Seasons or Waldorf. We are definitely coming back here :)」
