It is an older cottage w quirks of an older house w original bathroom w no mirror, steep staircase to basement off the kitchen, small TV, but great for playing some games and close place to sleep/shower."

"This cottage is so adorable and just a short walk to the beach and a local convenience store. This makes it easy to park the car and just walk to get coffee and such. We stayed in October so not much open this time of year, but we were in the area for a family wedding so not much time to hang out anyway. This was the first time I've rented on Vrbo, so I wasn't sure what to expect as have read a lot about obnoxious owners with tons of rules, but Brett is super-chill with only a couple of things...

"Excellent lakefront property, We were greeted with beautiful views of the lake as well as a bottle of wine, welcome card and a crackers and cheese plate. The kitchen has everything you could need and more. So many supplies, spices, etc. The beds were extremely comfortable and the hot tub was amazing. We stayed here for college visit to UConn, which was so close. We all had an excellent relaxing time and hope to retune again soon!!"

"Loved our stay here. We found the cottage to be very welcoming. Everything was very organized with instructions for all the appliances, pellet stove, and tvs easily accessible. The main bedroom was nice and comfortable. The four season room was so inviting. The pellet stove kept the cottage very warm and the fire was so soothing. "We loved our right-next-to-the-water one night stay in The Nantucket. The sliding doors in both the living room and the bedroom are about 5 feet from the water. We loved watching the sun rise over the bay and having breakfast on the porch. The bed was comfortable - felt like memory foam. My five year old slept on the pull out couch (I would not want to sleep on that, but she was fine!) This place is such a tranquil beautiful waterside bungalow. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This cottage perfect for two people. The location has all the amenities you could ask for. Climbing up and down the 43 steps to cottage can be tiring especially for the elderly. There is Liquer store very close buy and grocery store within 5 miles. I must say that prices there very high, but in no way does that reflect on owner. We certainly are looking forward to coming back for another stay."

"Great spot plenty of space in the house for everyone. Nice kitchen and livingroom obviously the salt water pool was great. We spent out nights near the fire pit and gazed at the stars. They really shine bright with no light pollution around here. Recommend having your monitoring coffee near the river access for a relaxing start to your day."

"We just returned and loved our time at the villa! We chose to stay here for 2 nights of concerts at Mohegan sun and could not have been happier! The property is clean, comfortable and has everythign you could need. The snacks and water were a welcomed treat! Taylor was so accomodating and we hope to return one day!"
