Fantastic location with easy access to I-95 and dining. Near the Coast Guard Academy. The host was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was super clean and had all the essentials. We both had a great night sleep.
Very clean and well stocked room, they had everything you could possibly want- AC, fans, towels, chargers, waterbottles, etc. Parking is very easy and available
William runs an exceptionally clean and well maintained property within walking distance of downtown New London. Room access is simple and gives you plenty of privacy. Rooms are spotless with excellent AC and shower. He is very easy to reach.
William met us in the parking lot and helped us inside with our luggage. The bed and linens were great-most comfortable of our trip so far. Pastries and juice available for breakfast and coffee always available. The property is lovely and well kept. You can see their pride in the place and attention to detail. It was a good stay.
The owner was super friendly and helpful! Extra amenities and croissants for breakfast. It was perfect, affordable and exactly what we needed! Thank you!
This hotel is perfectly suited for visiting our son at the Coast Guard Academy. It is very close, very quiet, and affordable. There are always plenty of clean towels available. The little kitchen is simple and coffee is easy to prepare for a simple breakfast on the go.
William was an incredibly kind and attentive manager who went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The accommodations were simple, but they were spotless, comfortable, and exactly what we were looking for. If you're looking for a clean, well-kept place with exceptional hospitality in a fantastic location, this is a wonderful choice.
We had a wonderful stay here! It had such a cozy, charming bed-and-breakfast feel and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The room was clean and comfortable, and the owner was friendly and welcoming. A perfect little spot for a quiet getaway — we would definitely stay again!
The room was very clean and well maintained. William was very friendly and helpful, and gave a thorough tour. There were free water bottles and breakfast foods supplied. Very quiet. Good pricing for a great quality room. Cozy and comfortable, and the bed was super comfy and clean. Also, provided shampoo/conditioner, body wash, and toothbrushes/toothpaste. Would recommend not bringing children. Great spot for couples. Will definitely be staying again soon.

The room was very clean and quiet. Staff was helpful and informative. Will definitely stay here again.
William, (owner) was kind and helpful but had just the. bare necessities. No tv. Small room enough for the bed. Unusual, common breakfast area and only coffee, choc chip muffins and croissants.
The room was very clean and the owner was nice. He explained that he took tv out of rooms because some previous guests left tv on too loud, all night & other guests complained. He made good recommendations for dinner choices in the area. The house is cut up into 3-4 rooms and is on a busy noisy street. Nothing wrong with it. It’s just quirky & odd…not what I expected.
William is very nice and very helpful. He will go over and beyond to make sure your stay will be and is the best stay. Property and rooms are very clean. What you see on the detail page of the Center is what you will see in person. Price is more than reasonable for the stay than other places around the area, even if you have to travel a bit of a ways. I definitely 💯 recommend staying at The Williams Center. I will definitely 💯 stay again. I give it a 10/10
The Williams center was an affordable, clean and decent place to spend a few nights. And there are lots of great things with in 20 minutes walking distance so you really don't have to drive to enjoy New London from there.
There is a shared kitchen area and the property manager provides water juice and coffee and some pastries in the morning.
We had a great time, but someone with mobility issues would struggle with the stairs.
This is an Airbnb type residential home that has been subdivided into hotel rooms. The rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom looks like it was just remodeled, tiled and shower. Very plain room. No closet - a rack to hang clothes on a desk with chair, a futon and a small refrigerator. There is no TV but Wi-Fi is included in the cost of the room. Overall a cost-effective if rather plain place to stay while in Groton or New London.
Our stay at The Williams Center was fantastic! The property manager, William, was kind enough to pick us up at the ferry and later drop us at the restaurant we had reserved. The room was clean and had a sofa, as well as a mini refrigerator, a rack to hang clothing and a coffee pot. It had quiet A/C and a small adjoining bathroom with shower. We also had the option of using a kitchen with a full size refrigerator and sink just down the hall.
I would highly recommend this property if you’re staying in the New London area. We will definitely be returning.
William, the host, was totally helpful in making his accommodations a most welcoming and delightful place to stay. My room was exceptionally clean and inviting. It had a homey feeling, unlike typical hotel rooms. The petite dejeuner of coffee and a pastry was perfect. I put this accommodation at the top of my list.
