「The room looked clean, but our feet turned black after walking on the tile. We had just showered and only walked barefoot to the bed to put socks on. Also, they downgraded us to a double room because we had a dog and they were out kings. Which is fine, but then they wouldn't adjust the price because we hadn't booked directly with them. The highpoint of the stay was breakfast and Shari, the breakfast attendant. She was super helpful and friendly. Her green sauce was delicious!」

「The room was very clean, well appointed, if basic. I hated the shower head, a handheld thing with a holder, with poor water pressure, but that was essentially my only complaint. The staff at the lobby/bar were very nice, check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the hotel has funky charm. The bar was a nice place for an afternoon cocktail, and we were happily surprised with live music on the patio the night we were there. There’s not a ton to do right around the hotel; the botanical garden is...

「A beautiful and charming historic stay! I loved exploring the hotel, staff was super friendly, beautiful antiques everywhere. I loved reading the historic facts about the hotel and surrounding areas in the hallways. My kids loved reading books available in the rooms. Will definitely stay again!」
