"It was a quiet and clean place to sleep. That's the most important thing. The room was listed as a Double Queen, which was a surprise because when it was owned by Best Western this hotel didn't seem to have double queen rooms, just double Full rooms. So we go it since we had kids travelling with us. Nope, they're still just double full beds. That was flat out untrue.
Not a real big deal, just be honest.
Breakfast was great, the staff were very helpful, and the outside of the hotel was clean and nice. The floors in the halls and elevators are struggling, but, it's a high traffic area, so, that's to be expected I guess.
Nice to have a decent place to stay in town. We'd stay again."
FAMILY FRIENDLY CREEKSIDE GETAWAY - HIDEAWAY AND ENJOY THE FAMILY MOMENTS
10/10 Excellent
"My wife, me, and our small dog enjoyed a quiet visit creekside. The hosts were welcoming and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The property grounds were very well maintained. We enjoyed sitting creekside in the shade and watching and listening to the birds and ducks in the area. The house has plenty of room for a larger group. "
"Would not recommend, I booked a week in advance. Went to go check in, there was a sign on the door saying “not available till after 4”. We were heading back to get checked in and got an email stating we were cancelled. "
Hideaway in Hays Beach: 1 Minute Walk to Western Sandy Shore of Chesapeake Bay
10/10 Excellent
"The property was very clean and well-stocked. Beds were comfortable and pictures matched reality. Jocelyn was so kind to leave us ingredients for smores and Easter eggs for my kids to have a hunt in the backyard. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and hope to make it back again some time!"
"Wonderful stay! The home is super cozy and the lay out and labels made the space welcoming. I love when a rental is labeled and allows you to ease right into vacation mode. We loved all the pics, balloons and personal touches you added to celebrate our anniversary. We loved watching sunset from the dock, playing cards on the deck and enjoyed soaking in the hot tub. Your kitchen was also fully stocked with essentials, which we greatly appreciate. Again, overall a wonderful stay and would recommend to friends/family. Also— Clara your art is beautiful!"
