"Femhøj is not exactly place with great charm but the rooms are very clean, the bed and bathroom were excellent. Rather boring breakfast and low quality coffee. We also went to the restaurant nearby for a dinner. Rustic setting and classical dishes....not bad at all. "

But I was upgraded to a nicer room in the newer section of the hotel which was much better. I don't particularly like integrated showers that wet the whole bathroom. But it seems to be common in Europe."

"Gilleleje Badehotel is one of the classic Danish seaside hotels dating from the end of the 19th Century, when the well situated started to spend their holidays away from the capital city. Gilleleje has an active port with both fishing vessels and leisure boats, and nice restaurants. There is a beautiful 1,5 km seaside walking path from the hotel to the port. We visited during winter and really appreciated our windy walks in the area. "
