「Expedia states there’s a restaurant along with a breakfast buffet but there is no restaurant there and the staff said none within walking distance. This isn’t the motel’s fault but it should be corrected in Expedia’s information.」

「It was very clean motel. Front desk was helpful.」

「Front desk personnel were so helpful and welcoming! Definitely would book here again :)」

「I have chosen to stay at the Portola Hotel for five consecutive years, and it is always exceptionally pleasant. The location is absolutely perfect. The neighborhood is safe and scenic, making my morning and evening strolls highly enjoyable. A special highlight this year was spotting wild sea otters near the hotel for the first time. It has truly become my go-to hotel in Monterey, and I already look forward to returning.」
