"It was a simple but adequate and clean little cabin. Even to shared facilities were clean and not at all unpleasant until the shared composting toilet started to emit a very unpleasant smell. That is why I am leaving a one star overall rating. If its too unpleasant to sit outside, it doesnt work. "

"We walked in the door and looked around. Literally everything you could ask for was in the cabin. Layout is beautiful, screened in deck is very nice. Temp control is great. There were toys inside for the kids to play with. Just an amazing experience run by great people. Definitely recommend "

"The dome itself was lovely and well situated on the water. The bed was uncomfortable, but the linens were clean. I was very disappointed in the facilities. I have no issues with using a pit toilet, however you must provide some running water for guests. The only way I was able to fill up water bottles was to ask the people at the lodge to go into the kitchen to fill my water bottles. I was also incredibly disgusted by the showers at Cabot Shores.
