Great location, good layout and excellent amenities. Only downsides were cleaning & the fact that you could hear every tiny footstep upstairs in the downstairs area (where most of the bedrooms are).

Great spring break getaway

Our family had a great stay. Weather cooperated and the house was a perfect fit for us. Plenty of room upstairs to watch the NCAA tournament basketball and great lounging by the pool and hot tub. The kitchen table comfortably fit our group and the kitchen was well equipped for everything we needed for Easter dinner. Additional sheet /towel package was convenient! Took the dog for a walk on the beach every day. Will look to stay again on our next trip down to SC.

great location

The house is roomy and the pool/hot tub a very nice perk. Great for a large group to have enough room to spread out. We could see the fireworks from the pier perfectly from the porch and had a bit of an ocean view as well.

Extended family vacay

This was a great house for multiple families! Enough room for all to enjoy! It was very close to the beach and also had a pool. We had a great time relaxing!

Great location and nice house.

Great house very close to the beach. Has 3 king suites all almost identical to each other. 2 bedrooms with 2 queens each with jack and Jill bathroom in between. 6th bedroom was bunk beds that could sleep up to 4. We had 13 in our group and were very comfortable. Nice pool and hot tub out back with lots of room to hang out. The pool guy came a few times during the week to check the pool, clean, etc. Also had 2 charcoal grills that we used a couple times. There are decks on each floor that are nice for sitting and relaxing. This is a great house and would highly recommend for large groups / multiple families

Wonderful Place for Extended Group

We had 4 families stay and it was marvelous. There was enough space to be together and not be on top of one another and space to be by ourselves if needed. The maintenance crew was great, friendly, and helpful. The pool was perfect and the beach was right around the corner. A great experience for our annual family vacation!

Great Family Beach Property

18 of us, 3 generations enjoyed a lovely time at the Sweetwater Inn. Although on a side street not facing the beach, we were close enough to hear the waves from the outside balcony. Private pool was great for keeping the kids close by when we were in between activities. Close to supermarkets and restaurants. We did a lot of cooking from scratch so we brought a lot of extra cooking equipment. Basic supplies are available but we topped up the numbers of cutlery. Earlier reviews were helpful in that regard. Minimal consumables are supplied so we planned accordingly (TP, paper towels, dish /hand/laundry soap, etc) We also used our own bedding and towels. A fantastic spot but might be best suited for those that are travelling by road and can bring all the extras.

Our stay October 2021

The furniture is exactly the same as the pictures. The mattresses on the second floor need to be replaced. They are not firm. The kitchen needs more counter space. But this has already been mentioned several times by other visitors. If you have trouble walking up stairs, this is not the house for you. All but two bedrooms are on the second floor. The kitchen, living area, and 2 other bedrooms are on the third floor. The house was fairly clean. If they have a cleaning service they are doing minimal cleaning. We stayed for 3 nights. When we swept before we left there was hair along the walls. My socks were filthy from walking on the kitchen and bedroom on the third level. The bedrooms are a decent size. All in all we enjoyed out stay at Myrtle Beach, SC.

Will definitely revisit this property!

The location was perfect, just right across from the beach. Friendly and clean neighborhood. We loved the giant dining table, our huge group was able to have meals and play games together at that table. Plenty of space inside and outside of the house, never felt crammed with 18 people. We loved everything about the house. The only very minor inconvenience is having to go to the office for keys pick up and drop off.

Great Time!

We come to Cherry Grove every year and this house was by far the best one we have stayed at yet! It was clean, close to the beach, and the pool and hot tub were a great time. The office manager and property manager were great and quick to responses when needed.

Good vacation rental

Good rental for large groups. Pool and hot tub area is excellent. Kitchen had plenty of cookware, but lacked counter space and had no baking pans or large platters which are always needed with large groups. Living area was spacious. Bedrooms were adequate, however, children’s room with bunk beds was isolated by itself next to kitchen and not adjacent to any other bedrooms. This made it difficult to utilize living area and kitchen once children were in bed. Some of the mattresses in bedrooms are well past time to be replaced.

Quirky process but worth it overall

Booking this property requires you to print and sign a lengthy document that seems aimed at rowdy spring breakers. Not a huge deal, but it was a hassle with no way to e-sign. This document asks you for the name, address and phone number of every person you plan to have stay in the house which feels a little draconian to me. No bedding is annoying. Not a huge deal if you're driving but make sure you read the listing carefully and plan to have enough bedding. It's $40 (!) per set for bedding which is outrageous. You can buy it at WalMart for that price. The dishwasher was broken and the oven didn't close all the way so it took forever to cook anything. If you go in the winter, please know that the hot tub and pool cannot be heated simultaneously, but they will still gladly charge you extra to "heat the pool" without telling you that the hot tub is connected to the same system. When we arrived the floor was already covered in sand and dirt. I had to take a shower before bed because my feet were so dirty. ALL THAT ASIDE: this is a huge house with tons of parking and a great pool/hot tub setup. It's so close to the beach and is within walking distance of an IGA which is great. My guests and I had a wonderful time. We loved the in-ceiling speakers. There was a TV in every room and most rooms have their own bathroom. I had no problems with the property itself and even with all the minor annoyances I'll definitely consider coming back.

Christmas Holiday

Beautiful House/wonderful floor plan for large groups. Dishwasher not working which was disappointing with all the cooking done for the Christmas holiday. Only one disappointing interaction which was with the property owner who showed up on Christmas Day and began yelling at my daughter and granddaughter to get out of the pool. Interestingly enough we had requested the hot tub be working...not the pool... When we arrived the property manager told us the hot tub wasn't working so we could use the pool. The property manager and owner were obviously not on the same page...needless to say, yelling at my family was not the professional way to resolve things.

Excellent Stay in a Great Property

Overall perfect summer getaway. House was very clean and exactly as described. Pool and Hot Tub were perfect and were cleaned daily, which was great during the pandemic. Everyone had plenty of room and privacy when needed, double fridge was great for a large group. Not much else to say, it was perfect!

enjoyed our vacation

We enjoyed staying here. There was plenty of room and the location was right for our needs. We rented golf carts so going places was quick and easy. While there were some things I might have changed, overall we enjoyed our stay.
