"This is an island to go to If you want a soft and calm holiday. We came here from a resort island on the north atoll and this is quite different. Here most guests are older and there are few wedding couples. Guest from europe and few russians. (Other resorts have lots of russian tourists) Tempo is lovely slowmotion on this small island and you walk around it in 20 minutes. What is uniquely with Makunudu? "A decent hotel and the suite we stayed in was lovely. Our issue really comes from the lack of available tours unless sufficient guests book in, but if not enough book you’re not able to book with another tour company without paying an extortionate docking fee. The food at the buffet is average but the Italian restaurant was lovely. The staff seem very confused with requests and say they’re not allowed to make decisions and yet there is never anyone around who can. Frustrating experience"
