「Friendly staff, comfortable bed, nice linens, very good breakfast. Bathroom fan not working and bedroom windows could only be opened fractionally which affected ventilation and temperature control. Carpets could be cleaner. Overall good value for the money.」

「What a venue! I'd always heard about Close House as a great location for golf, but never really thought of it as a place to stay. Its small enough to be personal and intimate. Not a huge venue that can feel overwhelming. Credit to all the staff, polite, welcoming, and always served with a smile.」

「Robert was a great host! He is located outside of town and is easy to find. Very quiet. Room was spacious and all amenities were provided. Lots of options for breakfast and everything was delicious. We very much enjoyed our stay!」

「Lovely characterful room, comfortable and spacious.Shower head was broken so we used it like a hand shower. Stairs are difficult for me but this was in the description. Would definitely stay here again.」

「There was a problem with the shower it was stone cold. Robin deducted some money from my bill as a good will gester. Before we checked out a plumber was there to fix the fault for the next guest . These things happen and it hasn't put me off staying again . Food was fab room was clean and service was excellent. Definitely recommend. And will stay again.」
