「We had a brilliant stay at the Hygge, it is tucked in the corner surrounded by open countryside, just beautiful. The quietness was appreciated and lovely.
The Hygge itself was spot on, well maintained and very clean. We found it to be a very comfortable and practical place to stay. We could have easily spent longer there and look forward to returning 」

「Absolutely amazing 3 night stay. Lovely village, lovely warm welcome, lovely couple who run the sun inn and they couldnt do enough for you to make sure our stay was comfortable and fantastic. Very dog friendly which was fantastic too. We had meals every night here at the sun inn as the food was fantastic. Yes limited menu, but we always found something tasty to order. They do fantastic sunday roasts too. Owners are italian, and the italian food as well as english food on the menu were super...
「Stayed over for a night whilst travelling back from a trip to Scotland. A great B & B which I can’t recommend highly enough. From meeting Susan on arrival where she showed off our room. Whilst cosy, everything was pristine! A comfy bed and great breakfast the next morning topped off a great stay.
Not forgetting the pub attached……where we had our evening meal and probably the best Beef and Ale pie we’ve ever had with great personal service too.
We’d highly recommend the Rose & Thistle and look...
